Our 30mm RGBW Permanent Outdoor Lights are built for homeowners who want more than just holiday colors. With a true warm white (3000K) channel and larger, brighter LEDs, these lights double as accent lighting, security lighting, and permanent holiday lighting in one system.
At ~85 lumens per pixel, the 30mm LEDs are nearly seven times brighter than our 12mm bulbs, focusing light onto your walls for a striking glow effect. From the street, you’ll still see the same clean bulb look — but your home will also shine with dramatic color and light.
Each kit includes everything in one box: LEDs, aluminum channel, controller, wiring, and cables. Installation is straightforward with basic tools, and our ShawTech mobile app makes it easy to customize colors, patterns, and schedules right from your phone.

How to install permanent outdoor lights
Installation is simple and can be finished in a weekend. Grab a friend, order some pizza, and get started.
Pro tip: Work in sections, test after each splice, and always unplug before wiring.
STEP 1
Plan Your Layout
Decide where the controller goes, then map out LED runs, power points, and jumps.
STEP 2
Set Up the Controller
Mount the controller in a dry spot, plug it in, and connect with the ShawTech app.
STEP 3
Mount the Channel
Screw the back channel to your soffit or fascia along your planned path.
STEP 4
Snap in LEDs
Insert LEDs into the front channel piece, then snap it onto the mounted back.
STEP 5
Wire the System
Connect LEDs to the controller, add power injection, and make your jumpers.
STEP 6
Test and Continue
Power on, test your LEDs in the app, then repeat the process for each section.
